The Bonehorn Northcrest™ Damascus Ulu Knife combines a broad curved cutting edge with a distinctive natural camel bone and buffalo horn handle. Built from handmade Damascus steel, its 300-layer full-tang construction brings traditional Ulu-style geometry together with natural handle materials.

Details

This Damascus Ulu Knife features a wide crescent-shaped edge designed for controlled rocking, slicing, chopping, and mincing motions. The curved profile makes it practical in the kitchen for suitable food-preparation tasks.

Natural camel bone and buffalo horn create contrasting tones and markings, so each handle can have its own individual appearance.

The blade uses handmade forged Damascus construction with 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 steel, forming approximately 300 layers.

Blade Length: 5.8 inches
Hardness: 57–59 HRC
Tang: Full Tang

Its broad curved edge supports the rocking cutting motion characteristic of the Ulu-style blade profile.

Handle Specifications

The 5.11-inch handle combines:

Natural Camel Bone
Natural Buffalo Horn

Both are natural materials, so variations in color, texture, grain, and markings are expected between individual knives.

For more information about handmade construction, see the Woodsman Forge guide to hand-forged knives.

Care & Use

Hand wash the knife after use and dry the steel immediately. Avoid leaving moisture, food residue, or acidic substances on the Damascus blade.

For protection during storage, lightly oil the blade with food-safe mineral oil or another suitable protective blade oil.

Make sure the knife is completely clean and dry before placing it inside its premium leather sheath.
